BB glow treatment is a minimally invasive and non-surgical procedure that uses a highly effective tinted pigment, applied by using a microneedle to penetrate the skin. It stimulates skin rejuvenation and collagen production. Leading to less freckles, less wrinkles and brighter, more radiant skin.
BB Glow combines a powerful tinted serum with microneedling .The microneedles penetrate the layers of the skin infusing the BB Glow serum adding nutrients and most importantly the colour tint required. The skin subsequently becomes stimulated thereby naturally producing an increased amount of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid resulting in skin rejuvenation.
This helps with reducing the appearance of pores, and smooths fine lines and wrinkles. The serum contains hyaluronic acid to make your skin more radiant and plumper and vitamin C to treat freckles and hyperpigmentation.
The BB glow shades available include Light (lightest shades for normal skin complexions), Light Rose (light pink shades for bright skin complexions), Medium (medium shades for medium skin complexions), Deep (dark shades for brown skin or bronze skin complexions), and Deep Plus(deep skin complexions).
BB glow takes about 1 hour, including skin preparation time. You will see instant results after the first session, but you may require 4 sessions with 2 week intervals for long lasting effective results. You can visit the therapist for maintenance treatment every 4 to 5 months.
A cleanser based on your skin type to deep cleanse your skin will be used. They will choose a BB glow serum, based on your desired shade and infuse it into your skin using the microneedling pen. Then apply a mask over the serum to prevent dryness.
You will receive anti-aging benefits from the serum and microneedling two weeks after the treatment as your skin will naturally rejuvenate itself. There is no downtime and you can resume your normal activities. You may experience temporary tightness, redness, or irritation after the treatment.

A single treatment will give immediate visible results for special occasions and holidays, but for four months of results a course of 3 (7-10 days apart) is recommended.
A course of 3 BB Glow treatments gives a result that lasts for up to 6 months. The treatments are cumulative, resulting in longer lasting results the more treatments you have.
A one off treatment takes up to 120 minutes which includes an exfoliation treatment to remove the dead skin layers thereby increasing penetration. Further treatments within a course take up to 80 minutes.
The BB Glow serums have been formulated to give nutrients to the skin, the tint providing the colour is completely natural and non-comedogenic (free of silicones) and will therefore not clog any pores (Unlike a spray tan).
It is a very comfortable treatment as this is superficial micro-needling, however some tightness and tingling may be felt post treatment which is normal.
The most significant advantage of a skin glow treatment is how long it lasts. After your course of treatment, the treatment results can last up to four months. The treatment is safe, and the BB serum is free of parabens, fragrances, alcohol, and allergens. There’s no pain or downtime with the treatment, so you can resume your routine as soon as you finish. You’ll see results immediately, but the serum will also continue to work for two weeks after your treatment. Many clients repeat the treatment two or three times to maximise its effectiveness.
