What Is LED Treatment

LED light therapy is a painless, non-invasive skin treatment whereby a person's face (or in some cases other parts of the body) is exposed to an array of Red, Blue and Near-Infrared LED lights.

The treatment uses pure UV free beneficial light which is converted into cellular energy. LED stimulates the release of ATP (Major carrier of energy to cells). This allows cells to accept nutrients faster and get rid of waste faster by increasing the energy in the cell and restores its appearance.

LED uses various different wavelengths that correspond to different colours. Each colour penetrates the skin and has different lengths. Blue light affects the upper layer of the skin, yellow light penetrates deeper, red light next and near-infrared penetrates the deepest. With this each colour helps to tackle different skin concerns.
