Plasma Skin Regeneration

What Is Plasma Skin Regeneration

Plasma Skin Tightening is the only cosmetic treatment to use plasma to eliminate excess skin. It is known for its success with Non Surgical Eye lift, Scar Treatments, Wrinkle reduction, tummy tightening and more. It delivers results similar to surgery without a scalpel, stitch or bandage and minimal downtime.

How Plasma Skin Regeneration Works

The extremely accurate device works by utilising the voltage in the air between its metal tip and the skin, to form a plasma charge. An electrical arc is created and instantly shrinks the targeted skin. The tissue retraction and tightening gives results that are comparable to invasive surgery by physically reducing the volume of skin in the surrounding area.

The device creates a tiny plasma flash which leaps from the tip of the device to the skin at a micro-sized point. This superficial point targets the skin in its immediate vicinity – which reduces the excess skin, tightening the lid / under eye area.

A series of tiny brown spots are strategically placed to attain the desired result for the excess skin. The skin around the spot tightens instantly, pulling the cells closer together. It is a minimally invasive procedure with a much lower risk and at a more affordable price than actual surgery.

What To Expect From Plasma Skin Regeneration

The positive effects of treatment will be noticeable immediately after the first treatment, but the best results will be seen by the 8th week as the skin has had time to go through a full regenerative cycle.

Plasma fibroblast skin tightening treatment is a minimally invasive aesthetic skin procedure. The treatment claims to rejuvenate skin by improving facial lines, wrinkles and skin pigmentation associated with photo-ageing.

Aftercare:

The after care is very important after this type of aesthetic procedure, even more important than the treatment itself. Most importantly you have to avoid any possible infection after the treatment. Do not pick any scabs which could form on the eyelids and let them fall off by themselves.

How Many Plasma Treatments Are Required

The number of treatments required will vary according to the condition being treated, skin’s laxity, the desired degree of correction and the individual’s response to the treatment. Appointments must be spaced out 6-8 weeks.

FAQs

Please find answers to the most common questions below.

How many treatments do I need?

Depending on which area you are having treated, the average number of treatments required can vary. Some areas such as a Mini facelift can need 1 or 2 treatments but the average can be 3 treatments for other areas.

The number of treatments required will vary according to the condition being treated, skin’s laxity, the desired degree of correction and the individual’s response to the treatment. Appointments must be spaced out 6-8 weeks.

Does Plasma treatment involve burning the skin?

Yes, the intended purpose is to ablate (burn) the superficial layer of the skin to intentionally to cause a small superficial burn.

This superficial burn caused by the electrical arc in turn will transfer a certain amount of heat onto the deeper layers of the skin, hence stimulating the natural skin reaction to heat: Very Localised Skin Tightening.

Are the treatments painful?

A certain degree of discomfort and sometimes pain can be experienced during the aesthetic treatments. The degree of discomfort or pain is very much dependent on the individual. Some people can go through the entire treatment without the use of any numbing product and are at ease during the treatment; others find these treatments too painful and request the use of topical anaesthetics. Generally, the use of numbing products are recommended for the client's comfort only however they are not strictly required.

Are Plasma skin regeneration results permanent?

We recommend that you receive microcurrent treatments at least once per month to see the best results, or every other week. Like going to the gym, regular treatments will enhance and prolong results.

Are the results immediate?

The procedure will have an instant result, however the final results will show after the area has healed. Additionally the final result will be dependent on the aftercare.

How long do Plasma Results last for?

In skin tightening we have seen results lasting for up to 2 years. Note that due to the normal ageing process the skin will gradually loosen over time again.

How often can I have it done?

The minimum wait period between treatments is decided by your beauty therapist, however in the best case scenario it is recommended to wait at least 6 weeks between treatments. Based on your particular case and the intensity of the treatment performed, the beauty therapist can decide to increase this minimum interval between treatments.

Is Plasma available on Mytime?
